Chelsea head coach Maurizio Sarri has been forced to hold ‘clear the air talks’ with his squad following his comments made after the defeat against Arsenal.
As reported by ESPN, Sarri spoke with his squad at Cobham on Monday in regards to what he said during his post-match press conference.
Speaking to the media, Sarri claimed that the Chelsea squad were ‘extremely hard to motivate’, with the Blues continuing to look below par under the Italian.
Chelsea struggled to influence the game against Arsenal, despite once again dominating large spells of possession.

The lack of a striker continues to hamstring Chelsea in attack, with Sarri hoping that the impending arrival of Gonzalo Higuain is the answer to his problems.
Pressure is beginning to mount on the former Napoli boss, with Arsenal and Manchester United rivalling the Blues for a place in the top four.
Chelsea are still inside the Champions League spots, but questions will undoubtedly be raised if the Blues lose ground on their top four rivals.
