PSG closing in on signing of Chelsea target Parades

PSG are closing in on the signing of Leandro Parades from Zenit, amid interest from Chelsea.

RMC Sport, via Get French Football News, have revealed that PSG have had positive negotiations with Zenit over a deal for Parades.

The report claims that Parades has already come to an agreement with PSG over his contract and is ready to sign a four-and-a-half year deal with the French giants.

Chelsea are reportedly interested in Parades, following the departure of Cesc Fabregas to AS Monaco, but now look set to miss out as PSG close in on a deal for the Argentine.

Parades is set to cost PSG €40m, with a potential further €7m in add-ons should he meet certain criteria in the future.

The 24-year-old has been capped nine times by Argentina and impressed in the Russia division for Zenit.
