Chelsea have been given a major transfer boost in the news that Nicolo Barella would rather join the Blues over other potential Premier League suitors.
According to reports from Gazzetta dello Sport, as cited on Sport Witness, the player would rather join up with the Blues, despite reported interest from other Premier League sides.
The report claims that both Arsenal and Manchester United are in the running to sign the player, while Chelsea have also been admirers throughout the January window.
It’s stated that Barella is ‘much more enticed’ about a potential move to Chelsea, with both Gianfranco Zola and Maurizio Sarri taking a particularly close interest in his services.

Chelsea have been heavily linked with a move for the player but have been told it could cost them in the region of £50 million, with Cagliari hoping to keep hold of the midfielder until the summer.
Following Cesc Fabregas’ move to Monaco earlier this month, the Blues have been in the market for a replacement.
