Enough is enough!
Dire football orchestrated by a one-trick pony of a coach and we are in danger of floundering even further this season.
The one saving grace is that we have enough points in the bag to avoid being relegated. People want to know why Maurizio Sarri hasn’t got a plan B when things are not going Chelsea’s way in a match – well I’ll tell you – that’s because he hasn’t got a plan A.
The one he brought with him from the slow-paced Serie A, just won’t wash here in the Premier League. What is the point of 72% possession, when every time you lose the ball you concede? Then, on top of that, we don’t move the ball with speed or purpose at the other end of the field and create minimal chances.
Sarri has to go before things get even worse. I don’t know what the answer is, to be honest. Watching this uninspiring dross against Bournemouth made me long for the days of Doug Rougvie and Joey Jones. Little skill on show but my god, what passion!
Chelsea need someone who knows the game, not some banker who thinks he knows the game. Bring back John Terry, someone who knows the club and the fan base. Hey, I would even welcome Claudio Ranieri back, because he cares.
This sort of performance is an insult to every Chelsea fan out there, who pays their good money to support this team through thick and thin.
At the moment, we have a cup final against City – and based on this, we might as well hand them the trophy right now, and then United in the FA Cup!
Jorginho needs to return to the slow-paced Serie A and on his way out the door, he can take his boss with him and good riddance.
