PSG to make stunning deadline day move for Willian

Willian could be the subject of a deadline day enquiry from Paris Saint-Germain according to Sky Sports.

The French champions are preparing to take on the Champions League knockout stages with a question mark hanging over Neymar, who sustained an ankle injury in recent weeks.

To alleviate the issues created by his absence, Thomas Tuchel’s side could try and bring in one of his international teammates in Willian.

The winger has been a part of the furniture in Maurizio Sarri’s starting XI this season, making 34 appearances in all competitions to this point.

Goals had not been flowing in abundance for the 30-year-old, until the former Shakhtar man bagged a brace against Sheffield Wednesday in the FA Cup.

This isn’t the first interest Willian has attracted, however.

Barcelona have also been reported as harbouring affection for the Ribeirão Pires-native, in addition to the customary offers from China.

Chelsea may opt to cash in on the veteran, in a move that could free up playing time for Callum Hudson-Odoi.
