Ola Aina looks set to complete a permanent move to Torino, with the Italian side deciding to take up their option to buy.
According to reports in Italy from Gazzetta dello Sport, as cited on Calciomercato, Torino have been so impressed with the defender that they want to secure his future.
As part of the loan deal that saw him move to the Serie A in the summer, Torino have the option to buy the player permanently.
Aina has been one of Torino’s most impressive players this season and he has adapted to life in Italy brilliantly.
Letting Aina go so cheaply could be a decision that Chelsea come to regret, but it remains to be seen if there will be any first-team opportunities for the player at Stamford Bridge.
The full-back positions have been areas that Chelsea have struggled to address in the transfer market in recent years, so replacing Aina may not be so easy.
