Tottenham make offer to sign Batshuayi

Tottenham have entered the race to sign Chelsea striker Michy Bathsuayi.

According to a report on Mundo Deportivo, who cite claims made by The Guardian, the Belgian striker is currently mulling over offers from Real Betis, West Ham and Spurs.

It had been widely reported that Chelsea have reached an agreement with both Betis and West Ham, but it now appears that Tottenham are trying to bring in the player.

Batshuayi is due to make a decision on where he wants to play his football during the second half of the season, as Chelsea have already agreed terms with both clubs.

The striker is set to end his loan deal with Valencia early after failing to impress during the first half of the La Liga season.

However, it looks unlikely that he will be heading to Tottenham. While Chelsea appear happy to sell Batshuayi this month, they are unlikely to approve of a deal that would see him join their local rivals.
