Bayern not giving up on Hudson-Odoi deal

Like a dejected reveller in a nightclub, Bayern Munich aren’t giving up on Callum Hudson-Odoi.

Despite failing to secure a deal for the winger during the January transfer window, the Bundesliga champions are eager to stay the course in their pursuit of the 18-year-old.

Having numerous offers rejected by the Blues, one would have thought a club would turn their attentions elsewhere – but not Bayern.

Sky Sports claim that the Bavarians will try to capture the prodigy again in the summer, who was suggested to be tempted by a move away from Stamford Bridge.

Bayern chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenige is quoted as saying:

We also had transfers in the past that didn’t work at the first attempt but at the second. And that’s what we will work on now.

To lay down a marker costs money. We want the best quality players here at Bayern and Hasan [Salihamidzic – sporting director]  is absolutely convinced of that player [Hudson-Odoi].
