Chelsea are set to miss out on young striking target Jann-Fiete Arp, with the Hamburg forward reportedly agreeing on a move to Bayern Munich.

Bild report that the player is set to make the move to the German giants, with a deal all but agreed for the striker to make the move to Bavaria.

Hamburg apparently have no say in any transfer now, with the forward set to move for a fee of €2.5 million.

Arp had been a target for several Premier League clubs, with Chelsea one of those chasing the 19-year-old.

Despite having limited action in his career for HSV, Arp has for a long time been billed as a hot prospect in Germany.

Dubbed by some as “the next Harry Kane”, Arp became the youngest player to appear in the Bundesliga last season, also becoming the first player born in the 21st century to appear in the German top flight.

However, Arp will now make the move to Bayern, dashing Chelsea’s hopes of acquiring the talented attacker.
