Matthijs De Ligt’s decision to link up with Mino Raiola appears to have scuppered his chances of moving to a Premier League club.
According to the Mirror, Arsenal, Liverpool, United, Spurs and Chelsea have all scouted the player in recent months.
However, Raiola is not believed to be a popular figure among Premier League clubs, meaning a move to England is now unlikely.
Barcelona are also in the running to sign the Dutch defender who is highly rated at Ajax.
De Ligt has been heavily linked with moves away from Ajax after impressing in the Eredivisie, but the Dutch side have managed to keep hold of him for now.
Chelsea themselves have been particularly reluctant to deal with Raiola after they missed out on a deal to sign Romelu Lukaku from Everton.
The striker turned down a move to Stamford Bridge to join Manchester United, but agent fees were believed to be a huge factor in his decision.
