Maurizio Sarri may well have lost the Chelsea dressing room, according to pundit and former striker Chris Sutton.

Speaking on BBC’s 606, as cited on the Express, Sutton explains that the Chelsea squad are clearly not playing for the Italian head coach.

He’s stubborn and I there are questions over Sarri. This is the same Sarri who said not so long back that he can’t motivate his players.

And if you’re the owner of the club, what are you thinking? Today (Sunday), did all the players give it their all? Well, I’m not so sure they did.

The Blues fell to a humiliating defeat away to Manchester City on Sunday afternoon, with the Premier League champions putting six goals past Sarri’s side.

Chelsea made it all too easy for Pep Guardiola’s side, who strolled past the Blues with no trouble at all.

Following the game, serious concerns have been raised about Sarri’s position at Stamford Bridge.
