Solsjaer promises mindset for Chelsea game hasn’t changed
Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has promised that the club won’t change their game plan for Chelsea, despite Champions League defeat.
The Red Devils lost 2-0 to Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday, and will face Chelsea in the FA Cup fifth round on Monday.
Despite appearing quick lacklustre against the Parisian giants at Old Trafford, former club striker Solskjaer said the club wouldn’t panic, and are focused on their upcoming clash with Chelsea. Speaking ahead of the game, as reported by Inside Futbol, Solskjaer said:
You have to bounce back at this club.
You’ll always have challenges and away to Chelsea is one of the tougher ones, so let’s make sure the next few days of training are good so we’re ready for Monday.
We won’t panic because we’ve lost a game – our mindset won’t change at all.
We need to keep working the way we want to play and the way we approach games will always be in an attacking, positive frame of mind.
Chelsea meanwhile came away from midweek European fixtures with a win this week, having beaten Malmo 2-1 in Sweden, and will look to continue to get their season back on track with a win over United.
