Chelsea make Under enquiry as potential Hazard replacement
Chelsea have reportedly enquired about the availability of Roma star Cengiz Under.
According to Turkish Football, the Blues have earmarked the player as a potential replacement for Eden Hazard.
The Blues are said to be planning for life without the Belgian, with an inevitable move to Real Madrid looking more and more likely ahead of the summer transfer window.
Chelsea have already signed Christian Pulisic from Borussia Dortmund, with the American winger joining in the summer, but the club are still expected to be busy in the market.
Under has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League in recent months, but talk of a move away from Roma has gone quiet after the emergence of Nicolo Zaniolo, who has somewhat stolen Under’s limelight at the Stadio Olimpico.
The Turkish star has three years left to run on his current contract in Italy and the report claims Roma are trying to get him to extend his deal.
