Sources close to Chelsea have told the Daily Mail that it is a case of ‘when and not if’ Maurizio Sarri is sacked by the club.
According to the report, the Chelsea squad are growing increasingly frustrated with the Italian’s tactics.
The claims emerged after their 2-0 defeat to the hands of Manchester United at Stamford Bridge on Monday night.
Sarri’s refusal to change his approach left the Chelsea players angered, with fans also voicing their frustrations.

With Chelsea losing by two goals, Sarri opted to bring on Davide Zappacosta in place of Cesar Azpilicueta, a like-for-like change rather than adding another attacker to the mix.
Reports on Tuesday morning suggested no decision was imminent, with Sarri set to take training as normal during the afternoon.
However, his future could look very different by the end of the week, with key games against Malmo and Manchester City in the Carabao Cup final to come.
