The club have categorically refuted FIFA’s findings, after they were handed a transfer ban lasting two windows.
As it stands, Chelsea will be unable to register any players for the next two windows – this summer and next January.
This would be a massive blow for Chelsea, who are currently trying to rebuild their team under Italian boss Maurizio Sarri.
However, their appeal could stretch out the case beyond the summer. This would mean that Chelsea are able to do any key business in the upcoming window before their ban is officially imposed.
There is, also, a chance that their appeal is successful, which would mean that no transfer ban would be placed upon them.
