Chelsea’s “dream” is to replace Sarri with Zidane

Chelsea’s dream move is to replace Maurizio Sarri with former Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane at the end of the season.

According to AS, via Sport Witness, Chelsea want to sack Sarri in the summer and replace him with Zidane, who has been out of work since he left Real Madrid last year.

Zidane walked out of the Real Madrid job after winning the Champions League three times in-a-row, as well as lifting one La Liga title, in his three years at the club.

The report claims that Chelsea want to keep hold of Eden Hazard this summer, amid interest from Real Madrid, in order to entice other players to commit their long-term futures to Chelsea.

Sarri has come under fire this season, with Chelsea currently outside the top four in the Premier League. They also lost the League Cup final on Sunday to Manchester City, losing on penalties after extra-time.
