Juventus have no plans for Higuain to return in the summer

Juventus will not allow forward Gonzalo Higuain to return in the summer, as they look to make sure he leaves the club in the next transfer window.

According to Mundo Deportivo, via Calcio Mercato, Juventus do not want Higuain to stay at the club and will sell him in the next window, whether that be to Chelsea or another side.

Chelsea may not be able to sign Higuain permanently, after they were handed a two transfer window ban by FIFA for breaking rules regarding youth transfers.

The Blues have appealed the ban as they look to be able to sign players in the next transfer window, to bolster their squad.

Higuain joined Chelsea on loan from Juventus in January, but has only scored twice in six appearances so far – with both goals coming in a 5-0 win over Huddersfield in the Premier League.

The Argentine was sent out on loan from Juventus to AC Milan, originally, last summer after the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo.
