Sarri hints at changes in the Europa League

Maurizio Sarri could be about to ring the changes against Dynamo Kyiv in the Europa League later this week.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference, as reported BT, Sarri explained that a number of his players are tiring due to their busy schedule.

We have no injury. Of course we have some players tired because the last week was very hard for us. We need to consider the situation and to rest some players, I think.

Chelsea’s fixture list has been relentless in recent weeks, with games coming thick and fast and in all competitions.

After Sunday’s win away to Fulham, they welcome Kyiv to Stamford Bridge on Thursday night for the first leg of their Europa League tie, it’ll be Chelsea’s eighth game in 25 days.

With changes likely, the likes of Callum Hudson-Odoi and Ruben Loftus-Cheek will both be targetting starts.

While Sarri has the option to rest a number of players, he will also be able to give game time to those who have been on the fringes in recent weeks.
