Earlier today, FIFA announced they will not suspend the transfer ban handed to Chelsea pending completion of the appeal process.
The ban came about as the Blues were found to have breached rules in relation to signing youth players, although Chelsea are said to be ‘astonished’ that the ban wasn’t suspended pending the appeal.
As it stands, the club can still sell players in the next two windows, but they will not be able to buy anyone whilst the ban is in place.
With Chelsea now not being able to bring in players, which players under the age of 25 could step up to the plate and deliver for the Blues?
