Liverpool are reportedly still interested in a deal sign Callum Hudson-Odoi from Chelsea.
According to Bild’s Christian Falk, the Reds are among the potential suitors for the English youngster.
Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund have been heavily linked with a summer move, but it now appears Liverpool will try their luck once again.
Liverpool were tentatively linked with Hudson-Odoi previously, but the claims were played down.
Hudson-Odoi is in the middle of a contract standoff with Chelsea, as a summer exit from Stamford Bridge looks increasingly likely.
Bayern made several offers to sign the youngster during the January window, but Chelsea stood firm.
The Blues have tried to convince him into signing a new deal, but as of yet, he has not put pen to paper, with his current deal running until the end of next season.
Chelsea remain desperate to keep hold of the player and would need some convincing to sell to a divisional rival.
What Chelsea must do to convince Hudson-Odoi to stay
Not make empty promises
It has reached a point where Chelsea could promise to play him in every game next season and the winger would be in his right mind not to believe the club. Too many empty promises have been made and they need to change that very quickly.
Value game time over money
Hudson-Odoi is a player that simply wants to play. For all the money on offer, that is not going to be a deciding factor for him.
Make a statement sale
Making room for him in the squad would be one way to show him how serious they are. Willian and Pedro are currently both blocking his route to the first-team squad.
Get him involved now
Despite being in the midst of a dispute with the club, he continues to watch on from the sidelines. Chelsea need to make him a first-team regular now.
