Chelsea have been offered the chance to sign Barcelona midfielder Philippe Coutinho in the summer.
According to AS, via the Metro, Coutinho’s agents have been in contact with Chelsea and Manchester United over a potential deal to bring the midfielder back to the Premier League at the end of the season.
Coutinho joined Barcelona from Liverpool in January 2018, but is now said to be looking to leave the Spanish giants in the next transfer window.
The report claims that his agents are trying to force a move away from Barcelona, with Chelsea and Manchester United the only two clubs mentioned so far.
Chelsea, however, are currently under a two-window transfer ban – as imposed by FIFA, which could complicate any potential move for the Brazilian international.
AS claim that Barcelona would be willing to part ways with Coutinho for a fee in the region of £68.8m, despite initially paying £120m to sign him from Liverpool.
