Hudson-Odoi to start for England against Montenegro

Callum Hudson-Odoi is set to be named in the England starting line-up to face to Montenegro tonight.

Sky Sports News reporter Rob Dorsett claims that injury concerns surrounding Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho will see the Chelsea winger given his maiden start for the Three Lions.

Hudson-Odoi, who is yet to even start a Premier League game for Chelsea, made his England debut off the bench during Friday night’s win over the Czech Republic.

The winger has come in for high praise from Gareth Southgate since joining up with the England squad.

Hudson-Odoi impressed off the bench during the brief period on the pitch on Friday night and will now be given his chance to shine from the start.

The news will delight those at Stamford Bridge, with supporters wondering what more the player has to do in order to force his way into Maurizio Sarri’s plans.

Liverpool’s Jordan Henderson and Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli are facing late fitness tests for the game.
