AC Milan are reportedly unconvinced by Chelsea forward Pedro, having run the rule over a potential summer move for the Spaniard.
Reports had suggested that the Rossoneri would rival their bitter city rivals Inter Milan for Pedro’s signature, with his long-term future at Chelsea in doubt.
However, according to the latest update from Calciomercato, Milan may have withdrawn from the race, citing the former Barcelona star’s age as the principle reason.
Pedro will be 32-years old once next season commences, which has seemingly dissuaded Milan from investing in the Chelsea man.
The Italian club currently possess an abundance of younger wide talent, including Suso and Samu Castillejo, and Pedro wouldn’t be seen as a positive improvement on those options.
Pedro’s contract with the Blues expires in 2020, and with Chelsea’s transfer ban complicating the situation, the club are sure to want to find a resolution to the transfer speculation sooner rather than later.
