Batshuayi could return to Dortmund this summer

Chelsea forward Michy Batshuayi could return to Borussia Dortmund on a permanent deal in the summer.

According to The Express, via Football London, Borussia Dortmund could land Batshuayi in the next transfer window if they are willing to meet Chelsea’s valuation of the forward.

He is available for a fee in the region of £40m, but it is unclear at this time as to whether or not Dortmund would be able to match it.

The report claims that his future is uncertain at Chelsea, after Maurizio Sarri loaned him out to Crystal Palace in the January window.

Batshuayi spent the second half of last season on loan to Dortmund in the Bundesliga, scoring an impressive seven goals in ten appearances for the German giants.

He has only managed two goals in nine Premier League games for Palace this season, but Chelsea are still hoping to make a profit on the £31m they spent on him in 2016.
