Chelsea eyeing Gracia as potential Sarri replacement

Chelsea are eyeing Watford manager Javi Gracia as a potential replacement for current head coach Maurizio Sarri.

According to The Daily Record, Chelsea have drawn up a shortlist of candidates to replace Sarri and Gracia is on the list.

The report claims that Chelsea have been impressed with Gracia’s work at Watford and would be interested in making him their next head coach if Sarri were to be sacked.

Watford are currently competing to finish 7th in the Premier League and are in the FA Cup final – where they will face Manchester City later this month.

Sarri, meanwhile, has come under fire at times this season and Chelsea are beginning to think about replacing the Italian boss.

The report also claims that Chelsea would like a head coach who is content with the structure in place at the club. This means that they would be happy to let those above them deal with transfers.
