Sarri: Hazard injury is nothing serious
Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri has insisted that the knock suffered by Eden Hazard in Thursday night’s victory over Slavia Prague is “nothing serious”.
The playmaker received some rough treatment by the Slavia Prague players and he was down injured just a few minutes after kick off.
The opponents continued to kick and clip Hazard, something which he is used to due to his trickery and dribbling ability.
He was withdrawn just after the hour mark by Sarri, much to the relief of the Chelsea fans. As reported on Football London, when speaking about Hazard’s knock, Sarri said:
No, nothing serious I think. Only a knock. A strong knock. I think he needs to recover for Monday.
The Blues have got a huge month coming up and they’ll need Hazard fit and ready for the run in.
The London club will be hoping to win the UEFA Europa League as well as finish in the top four in the Premier League.
