Chelsea missed the chance to move up to third in the Premier League following a frustrating 2-2 draw against Burnley on Monday evening.
All four goals came in a frantic first half at Stamford Bridge, during which Callum Hudson-Odoi limped off and N’Golo Kante was replaced at half time due to an injury.
Jeff Hendrick opened the scoring with a fine volley from the edge of the area, before Kante equalised with a well taken finish after fine work from Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Eden Hazard.
Gonzalo Higuain put the Blues ahead with a powerful finish from a tight angle two minutes later before Ashley Barnes drew Burnley level.
The Blues move above Arsenal into fourth following the Gunners’ defeat to Crystal Palace on Sunday, though Unai Emery’s side have a game in hand.
