Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar has revealed he’d like to play alongside Eden Hazard at some stage of his career, amidst heavy speculation linked the latter with a summer move to Real Madrid.
Speculation over a potential move to the Bernabeu has also surrounded Neymar, an ex-Barcelona star, and his most recent comments will only add fuel to the fire.
Speaking to FOX Sports, as cited by the Evening Standard, Neymar felt rather confident about the impact he and Hazard would have if they were playing alongside each other.
I would like to play with Hazard. He has a style similar to mine. I think I could give it a try. We would cause havoc together!
The 27-year-old sent shockwaves across the football world by moving from the Nou Camp to PSG for a world-record fee of €222m in 2017 and he’s been tearing Ligue 1 up with Kylian Mbappe and Edinson Cavani since.
It’s likely he’ll look for a new challenge at some point as the years in his career trim down, so we could very well see the two together at some point in the future.
