Chelsea’s London rivals fell to a 1-0 defeat at home against the very exciting young Dutch side.
With an away goal on record, Spurs now have a very tough task on their hands as they prepare for the second leg.
In truth, the result never looked in any doubt for Ajax with Spurs looking tired from the start.
Speaking on beIN Sports’ coverage of the game, Gullit was brutally honest in his verdict of Tottenham’s performance and could not help himself but to have a little chuckle.
