Kalas keen on permanent move away from Stamford Bridge

Chelsea defender Tomas Kalas is hoping to secure a permanent move away from Stamford Bridge this summer, football.london report.

The 25-year-old joined the club back in 2010, however, the Czech Republic international has turned out just four times for the Blues.

Kalas has been sent out on loan to various sides across Europe, including  Vitesse Arnhem, FC Koln, Middlesbrough, Fulham and Bristol City.

The central defender has been a regular under Lee Johnson this season and as a result, is hoping to leave west London for good in the summer.

However, even though Kalas wants to end his nine-year Chelsea stay this summer, the club may wait until the verdict of their transfer ban appeal in deciding whether or not to grant the defender’s wish.

With Gary Cahill set to depart at the end of the season and David Luiz’s contract situation still up in the air, boss Maurizio Sarri may be forced to look at the likes of on-loan defenders Kalas, Kurt Zouma and Fikayo Tomori as possible options next season.
