Ruben Loftus-Cheek will miss the UEFA Europa League Final against Arsenal and this summers Nations League Finals after picking up an injury during Chelsea’s friendly against New England Revolution earlier this week.
The England international has been impressive in recent weeks for the Blues as he cemented his place into the Chelsea side after a great run of form.
However, his season has come to an abrupt end after suffering a bad injury in the USA just 13 days before they meet Arsenal in Baku.
Loftus-Cheek broke his silence on the matter by posting on Twitter and sharing his sadness on what happened.

In his statement, the 23-year-old confirms that his surgery was a success but he will miss both competitions as a result.
The Englishman has been a vital part of the Chelsea team that has made the final of the European competition, scoring four goals and providing three assists throughout the competition.
