Chelsea are said to have been interested in a deal to sign Hazard back, although they do not yet know whether or not they will be able to do business this summer.

The club are currently serving a two-window transfer ban, imposed upon them by FIFA for breaking rules in regards to the transfer of youth players. Chelsea could yet appeal and be allowed this summer before a final decision is made, however.

Speaking to Di Marzio, as quoted by Football London, Hazard said this about his move to Dortmund:

The reasons are clear when you are called by such a great team.

Axel Witsel? It’s a good thing that I already know someone at the club.

matchday.
