Sarri hopeful Kante will return for the Europa League final
Chelsea head coach Maurizio Sarri has revealed that he is hopeful N’Golo Kante will feature against Arsenal in the Europa League final.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference, as reported by Liam Twomey, the Italian revealed that the club are continuing to work on his fitness.
Kante was pictured earlier this week back in training, in what will be a huge boost for the Blues as they prepare to fly out to Baku.
With Ruben Loftus-Cheek now ruled out of the game, having Kante back in the team will ease the midfield blow for Sarri.
Kante has been quietly impressive once again for the Blues this season, playing in a more advanced role under the former Napoli boss.
While not all supporters have agreed with the tactical change, Kante has reacted well and put in a number of impressive performances in the middle of the park.
