Current Paris Saint-Germain manager Thomas Tuchel has enjoyed success with the French side this campaign as they lifted the Ligue 1 trophy once again.
Tuchel has found it tough since the turn of the year as his side bowed out to Manchester United in the Champions League and were defeated by Rennes in the Coupe De France final after a thrilling game ended with penalties.
And according to the Evening Standard, Chelsea have identified the German manager as a potential replacement if they are to part ways with Maurizio Sarri at the end of the season.
Chelsea ended the campaign in third place after a fine run of form towards the backend of the season as Sarri guided the club back into the Champions League.
The former Napoli coach has also enjoyed success in cup competitions, as his side fought their way to the Carabao Cup final and the Europa League final.
With a European title still on the line, Sarri’s future will be in the hands of the club but the speculations surrounding his role won’t be easing his mind.
