Reading striker Danny Loader is reportedly wanted by Chelsea this summer.
The Blues have emerged as potential suitors for the 18-year-old, according to a report from Goal, who claim he could leave the Royals ahead of next season.
Loader enjoyed a positive breakthrough season despite his side’s struggles near the bottom of the Championship table, and it seems his displays have attracted interest from some of Europe’s top clubs.
Chelsea are noted as a possible destination for the striker, who is also being eyed by Italian giants Juventus, Ligue 1 pair Lille and Rennes, and Bundesliga outfit Borussia Monchengladbach.
Loader is a man in demand, and following his 22 appearances this season for Reading, he has proven to be a more than capable player at senior level.
The England Under-19 international could be available for just £3 million because he has only one year remaining on his current deal, and Premier League clubs are circling.
Chelsea and Arsenal want to land Loader, according to Goal, while Wolves, Leicester City and Southampton are also keen.
Other strikers who Chelsea could target
Belotti has been good for Torino in the past few seasons and would be an astute signing.
Dembele has performed well for Lyon and could add some spark to Chelsea’s attack.
Petagna would provide Chelsea with a more physically-gifted attacking option.
Mariano could leave Real Madrid, and he would improve the pool of Chelsea forwards.
