Blow for Chelsea as Kante “definitely out” of Europa League final

Chelsea have been dealt a massive blow ahead of the Europa League final, with N’Golo Kante “definitely out” for the clash.

According to Nizaar Kinsella, Kante will not be starting the game, as Chelsea do not want to risk his long-term fitness just so that he can play in the final.

Chelsea face Arsenal in the final of the Europa League in Baku on Wednesday night, with the club handed 6,000 tickets to sell – despite the stadium holding 69,000.

Maurizio Sarri will also be without Antonio Rudiger, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Ruben Loftus-Cheek, who are long-term absentees from the side.

Kante injured his knee in training last Saturday, having just returned from a calf injury, and now looks set to recover over the summer in order to come back fully fit for next season.
