Fabregas aims a huge dig at trophyless Spurs

After an impressive season, but in all, a trophyless one, former Chelsea man Cesc Fabregas aimed a huge dig at Spurs who once again failed to win any silverware after losing the Champions League final 2-0 to Liverpool in Madrid.

As reported by the Daily Mail, Fabregas was spotted on social media taking a cheeky dig towards Tottenham fans, before acting quickly and deleting the tweets.

Having qualified for a medal as part of the Europa League winning team by playing five group stage games for Chelsea this season before his move to Monaco in January, Fabregas joked that he finished the season one up on the fellow London club once again.

In the end I won more myself from a studio than you guys.

Comments were made in reference to the Spaniard being a studio pundit during Chelsea’s victory over Arsenal in which he opted out of collecting his winner’s medal and later watched Tottenham Hotspur lose out in their own final without much of a fight.

Fabregas made over 300 appearances for arch-rivals Arsenal between 2003 and 2011 before later playing nearly 200 times for fellow London club Chelsea when signing in 2014.
