Sarri could leave Chelsea as early as this week

To the surprise of some, after just one season in England in charge of the Blues, Sarri could be heading back to Italy as soon as this week, with one Italian newspaper – Corriere dello Sport, suggesting Juventus could have a new man in charge by the end of the day.

After multiple discussions with agents from across both sides, it has been suggested that Sarri is the main figure pushing for the move after the feeling of being underappreciated by the Chelsea fans and board this season.

Sarri guided Chelsea to the Europa League trophy this season, becoming the first side never to lose in a campaign in doing so, on top of a respectable third-place finish in the league.

Chelsea however, are said to already lining up replacements with Frank Lampard, Steve Holland and Laurent Blanc said to be in the frame. The only deterrent from a Chelsea perspective is that of a more than likely two-window transfer ban in which a new manager may struggle to put his own identity on the club.
