Allegri learning English amid rising links to the Premier League

Massimo Allegri is said to be learning English amid increasing links to the Premier League, in particularly Chelsea.

The former Juventus boss has been touted as one of the names that could replace Maurizio Sarri, who ironically, appears to be on his way to Turin to become Allegri’s successor.

The latter has been heavily linked with moves to Chelsea in the past and it now appears that he is putting in the preparations to eventually take a job in the Premier League, as reported by Calcio Mercato.

Reports have suggested that Chelsea are reluctant to appoint Allegri as he would be the club’s third consecutive Italian manager, following Sarri and Antonio Conte.

However, he remains one of the names being suggested, while Derby County boss and Blues legend Frank Lampard remains the early favourite.

Javi Gracia and Nuno Espirito Santo have also been touted as potential options for the club.
