Antonio Conte has his eye on a few players this summer, one person, in particular, is believed to be Chelsea’s Davide Zappacosta, according to reports from Tutto Mercato Web.
This season Zappacosta has only made four league appearances for Chelsea after being with the club since August 2017, so perhaps a move back to Italy could be beneficial for the defender.
According to reports, Conte is extremely keen to sign Zappacosta as he aims to rebuild his defence after taking over at Inter.
Zappacosta was playing more regularly under Conte when he was in charge at Chelsea. Under the Italian, Zappacosta was part of the team that won the FA Cup final.
Clearly, the two worked well together and considering Zappacosta is no longer a regular at Stamford Bridge, it is looking likely he will be moved on this summer.
