It’s being reported by the Bristol Post that Rangers are one of several clubs to make an offer for Chelsea’s Czech centre-back Tomas Kalas.
The 26-year-old has been at the Bridge for nine years, a spell which has only seen him make two league appearance for the club, with the last one coming back in 2014.
The Czech defender has been sent out on loan to six different clubs during his time as a Blue with the three last being in the Championship with Middlesbrough, Fulham and Bristol City.
Kalas had a solid 2018/19 campaign for Bristol City in which they narrowly missed out on the play-off places. He appeared 41 times last season for Lee Johnson’s side.
With Chelsea stacked with options in the centre-back position, it is likely that the defender will be leaving the Bridge again this summer but maybe this time on a permanent deal. Kalas’ contract at the Bridge runs until the end of June 2021.
