Sarri deal could be agreed as early as today with further talks taking place

Chelsea and Juventus are believed to be holding more meetings today and could reach an agreement over a deal for Maurizio Sarri.

According to reports from Alfredo Pedulla, a deal could be completed as early as today or tomorrow for the Italian head coach.

He adds that Juventus are insistent on adding Emerson Palmieri to any potential deal, something that they hope can work in their favour when negotiating with the Blues.

The Brazilian-born defender has been in and out of the team under Sarri but finished the campaign very much as first-choice ahead of Marcos Alonso.

Roman Abramovich has already given Sarri the green light to move on, but the club are eager to ensure that he does not leave for nothing.

It is now becoming increasingly likely that Sarri will be the man that replaces Massimo Allegri in Turin, as it becomes a matter of when and not if a deal is agreed between both parties.
