Atalanta are keen on a move for Mario Pasalic this summer following the midfielder’s successful loan spell with the Serie A side last season, but are looking to negotiate the agree optional fee clause in the deal.
Pasalic made 42 appearances for Atalanta last season, scoring eight goals and creating six assists to help the Serie A outfit qualify for the Champions League.
Atalanta are understandably keen on signing the midfielder on a permanent deal this summer, but are looking to negotiate a lower fee than the €15million optional purchase clause included in the loan deal, Inside Futbol report via Italian outlet Tuttosport.

Pasalic is also said to be keen on securing a permanent move to Atalanta, though the deal appears to depend on whether Chelsea will accept a lower bid than the agreed purchase fee of €15million.
The midfielder is yet to make a senior appearance for the Blues following his move from Croatian side Hajduk Split in 2014.
