Sevilla plotting Tiemoue Bakayoko loan move

La Liga outfit Sevilla are thought to be preparing a loan offer for out-of-favour Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko.

According to Spanish outlet Estadio Deportivo, Sevilla will look to offer the Blues £5m to secure a season-long loan deal for the Frenchman.

The 24-year-old spent last season out on loan in Italy with AC Milan, with the Italian giants having the option to sign the player permanently for £35m.

However, the Rossoneri decided against making the move a permanent one, and the holding midfielder looks set to return to Stamford Bridge over the summer.

Chelsea’s managerial problems may play a key role in where Bakayoko plies his trade next season.

Maurizio Sarri clearly wasn’t a fan of the towering midfielder and was happy for the player to leave on loan last season.

If the Italian remains in London, the French midfielder would more than likely be allowed to depart.

However, if Sarri completes a return back to Italy with Juventus, a new man in the Stamford Bridge dugout may want to assess Bakayoko before making the final say.

That being said, it appears as if Sevilla will be approaching the Blues in the coming weeks over a possible deal.

matchday.
