Chelsea and Everton in talks over possible Zouma deal

Chelsea and Everton have reportedly begun negotiations regarding the possible transfer of Kurt Zouma.

According to claims from The Telegraph, the 24-year-old could be on the move again this summer as the Toffees pursue a permanent deal.

Zouma spent the duration of last season on loan at Goodison Park and was impressive, earning himself a regular starting berth in Marco Silva’s line-up.

Such was the impression that the France international made during his temporary stay on Merseyside, Everton are now chasing a deal, and have entered talks with Chelsea.

The Blues are likely to be working within the constraints of a transfer ban this summer and could be keen to retain the services of some of their loan stars.

However, whether or not the West London club can provide Zouma with first-team football on a frequent basis remains to be seen, and Everton are hoping to convince Chelsea to sell the Frenchman despite knowing that he will not come cheaply.
