Lampard to make decision on Zouma’s Chelsea future

Frank Lampard will be given the final word on a potential deal to sell Kurt Zouma to Everton this summer, should the former take the Chelsea job.

The BBC reports that Everton are stepping up their interest in the Frenchman, as they bid to turn his loan move into a permanent one.

Zouma has impressed at Everton and Marco Silva is keen to bring him back permanently as a long-term replacement for Phil Jagielka.

It remains to be seen if there is a future for Zouma at Stamford Bridge after he had previously fallen out of favour.

He is one of a number of players that have been tipped to play a part next season as a result of the club’s transfer ban, but that decision will now come down to Lampard.

Derby have given him permission to talk to Chelsea, with the general consensus being that a deal could be wrapped up before the end of the week.
