Chelsea have confirmed that midfielder Mario Pasalic will return to Atalanta for a second season on loan to the Italian club.
The club have revealed that Pasalic has put pen to paper on a new three-year contract with Chelsea, before heading off to Italy to rejoin Atalanta.

The 24-year-old spent last season on loan to Atalanta in the Serie A, as he helped them secure Champions League qualification with a third-place finish in the league.
Pasalic will now have the chance to play in the Champions League with Atalanta next season, as they aim to push on and continue to improve in the Serie A.
He joined Chelsea in 2014, but is yet to make a single senior appearance for the Blues in his career. He spent time on loan with Elche, Monaco, Milan and Spartak Moscow before his move to Atalanta this time last summer.
