Michy Batshuayi looks like he will have the chance to impress Frank Lampard during Chelsea’s pre-season campaign.
The Belgian striker was pictured among the travelling squad as Chelsea fly out to Ireland to kick-off their pre-season action.

Lampard was only confirmed as the new Chelsea boss on Thursday morning but has wasted no time in getting down to action.
Who leads the line next season is going to be one of the biggest decisions that Lampard has to make early on.
With Gonzalo Higuain returning to Juventus, Chelsea have Olivier Giroud, Tammy Abraham and Michy Batshuayi to choose from in terms of senior strikers.
The latter spent last season on loan at Valencia and Crystal Palace and failed to really impress at either club.
If the Belgian forward can recapture the form that he showed while on loan at Borussia Dortmund then he may well be able to nail down a first-team spot.
Who are the players looking to impress in pre-season?
He is also among the travelling squad and could be a player that Lampard leans on during the opening stages of the job.
Like Batshuayi, Tammy Abraham will be hoping to lead the line for Chelsea next season. Good performances in pre-season could be enough for him to do just that.
Tiemoue Bakayoko’s future remains up in the air, with a Chelsea return still not being ruled out at this stage.
Andreas Christensen finished last season strongly and a positive start in pre-season could see him nail down a regular starting spot.
