Manchester United and Chelsea have both reportedly made contact about a deal to sign Edinson Cavani.
According to L’Equipe, as cited on Get French Football News, it has become clear that the player will leave Paris Saint-Germain in the summer, alerting the Premier League duo.
Following the signing of Mauro Icardi, Cavani looks set to leave the French club at the end of the campaign when his contract expires.
Atletico Madrid have previously been heavily linked with a January move, but a free transfer in the summer now looks the most likely option for the 32-year-old.
