Chelsea fans want Ben White signed following ‘composed’ Arsenal display

Chelsea have been linked with a move for Leeds United loanee Ben White.

And the 22-year-old defender caught the eye of several Blues fans in the FA Cup tie against Arsenal on Monday.

White impressed for Marcelo Bielsa’s side at the Emirates, who after an excellent first-half display, were edged out by Mikel Arteta’s side thanks to a Reiss Nelson strike.

Chelsea, along with Liverpool and Tottenham, have all been linked with the Brighton defender, who coped fairly well with Alexandre Lacazette at the Emirates.

During the game, Chelsea fan page @TheBlues_ heaped praise on White, which resulted in these Blues supporters also showering the youngster with praise.

Some even called for the club to make their move for the defender.

Lampard has already been willing to place his trust in homegrown defenders Fikayo Tomori and Reece James, so there’s every chance he could be keen on adding White to his ranks at Stamford Bridge.

He’s excelled at Elland Road this season and boasts some impressive stats.

Whoscored.com show that White averages 1.8 tackles won per game, 2.6 interceptions every 90 minutes and 3.6 clearances a match.

On the ball, he’s also caught the eye, averaging 57 attempted passes per game with a respectable success rate of 84.8%, via Whoscored.com.

These stats have seen him become one of Leeds’ standout performers, and who knows, we could see the youngster arrive at Stamford Bridge over the next, six months, which would please these Blues fans.
